Trying version 1.5. Fade in set to 0,5 or 40 seconds makes no difference.

Was not able to "Save as" ringtone and no possibility to choose folder where to save it.

Having spent 3 hours looking for a simple programme to make ringtones, I found this and it is perfect. Easy to use and puts the file stright into iTunes ready to sync with your iPhone. Perfect. Well done!!!

I have used a few ringtone makers before I found this app and iAm Ringer Lite - Ringtone Maker is The Best that I have ever used for this purpose! It is extremely easy and simple to use - just drag and drop a music file into the program, set the start and end point parameters, preview, and save. The great thing about this app is that it saves directly into iTunes - no unnecessary syncing required! Once the ringtone file is in iTunes, all you have to do is drag and drop to your mobile phone and voila! - you now have a custom ringtone. Within an hour of downloading this app, I had created about 15 ringtones - for Free! I highly recommend this app to anyone looking for an easy ringtone maker solution!

For someone who struggled to figure out how to do ringtones for my iPhone (yeah, yeah I know) even I am completely impressed with how easy this is to use! I love it!

worked great to make a ringtone. The problem was finished product has a buzzing sound on tones that were made.

Straight forward. Easy to use. Works great on Snow Leopard 10.6.8

I used this the first time and it worked, the second time it wouldnt even play when i sent it to my phone, and worse yet I cant even delete them off my phone. I dont reccomend it.

This program gives you something you cant use until you buy it. Its advertised as a free program.Dont bother downloading. Its a waste of space.

This lite version is awesome!!! You really dont need the full version unless you have to. Believe me, this version is worth it!!!

App makes you pay $1.99 to unlock any usefulness and then does not work on short sounds. Wish I could get my money back.

I wanted something ease for the family to use and this is it. It works really good!

Fade in and out doesnt not work on created ringtone.

It took me about 30 seconds to create my very first ringtone. Could not be easier!

This app is nowhere as bad as some reviews are making it seem. There are a few bugs, mostly while trying to create multiple ringtones from a single file, and the UI doesn’t always show the actual settings, but it does allow you to easily create a ringtone from a soundfile. The free version requires that you drag-and-drop a file rather than selecting it from the iTunes list, but that’s a small inconvenience. I personally would like to see more volume adjustments (ie, louder than the original file) but again, it’s free. It also handles my 25-minute-long input file, which several other free creators did not.

I have not found a better free ringtone app. It has a short learning curve, but for my purposes it is excellent & easy to use. When I’ve made tones for my iPhone, it puts them in the list without convoluted hoops to jump through. i don’t know what these other reviewers are complaining about specifically - I haven’t encountered any bugs. I made short tones & fade-outs without any problem. Maybe some aren’t using it correctly or just want the sun, moon & stars for free?
